Today I cried

First some background information. Recently we got another dog, it’s the cutest little puppy ever. For Christmas I got this awesome pair of shoes, they are my favorite shoes ever. They are retro style running shoes, most of the shoe is composed of a dark brown and a slightly lighter brown. But on the side of each shoe is a light blue zig-zag- line outlined with a darker blue. Well today I woke up and realized I had left my shoes in the living the night before. So I went to get them but I could only find one. So I searched and searched for the other one. I found it under the couch and the puppy had obviously put it there. The heel was chewed up and there are a couple holes in the back. I was so upset. I love those shoes more than words could ever describe. Now, I didn’t actually cry but I think I died a little on the inside. I think the shoes are okay but they need to be washed, they have dog drool all over them. Peace Out My Readers!

Shopping Fun

Today Christina and I went out on the town. We had a fun day just shopping and hanging out. We went to Goody’s and Fashion Bug and the mall. It was a ton of fun. I got some cute shirts, shoes to match my prom dress, and those camo pants I’ve always wanted. Yeah, things are really looking up. Shop On My Readers!

Ane-San

There is this senior girl at my school who Christina and I greatly admire. She is smart, funny, kind, and she likes anime. She is totally on fire for Christ and is a great role model for us younger girls. So we have dubbed her Ane-San, which is a japanese term for a respected older girl. Ane-San is a part of the club Christina and I started, the Otaku Club. Well, recently Ane-San drew the cutest pic of the three of us. Click here to see it. The one on the right is me, the one in the middle is Ane-San, and the one on the left is Christina. It looks just like us and captures our personalities excelently. My slippers are Yuki (Fruits Basket), Ane-San has Momiji slippers and Christina has Kyo slippers and Chobit’s ears.

Best Birthday Ever!!!

So today is my birthday. Yes, I’m finally 17! Ha, Ha! Well, Friday me and some friends were supposed to go to Jitters. I wasn’t going to have a birthday party this year so that was sort of like my party. That day it started snowing really hard but it stopped pretty early in the evening. But one of my friend’s mom didn’t want them to go because there could be ice on the road. Then my other friend couldn’t go because something had happened to her aunt and she had to go to the hospital to visit her. Needless to say, I was pretty bummed that they couldn’t make it and if they weren’t goin then I didn’t really want to go. So I just stayed home and moped around and felt bad. Then Monday my mom made me get up (it was the first day of spring break and I wanted to sleep in) because she said we were going to visit my aunt. So I got up, got dressed, and we left. She said something about how we were going to stop at Pizza Hut and pick up some pizzas or something but I wasn’t paying attention I was just listening to my mp3 player. Then we pull up and my mom, brother, and sister get out of the car and my mom tells me to get out. I’m like why do we all have to go in just to pick up some stupid pizzas. I walk in the door and “SUPRISE!” my two best friends jumped out yelling. I was so shocked, I had no clue they were going to throw me a suprise birthday party. So I sat down at a table while Christiana and Lindsey told me how they had planned it out. It turns out they had planned to throw the party at Jitters but neither of them could make it so they called it off and re-scheduled it for Monday. They were the only ones who could make it but my other friends sent their apologies for not coming. It was so awesome, I’ve always wanted a suprise party, it really meant alot to me. I ate pizza and cake and laughed my butt off. I got a copy of Napoleon Dynamite, The Killers cd, Bleach (the manga not the chemical), Trigun Maximum (vol. 4), and lots of great pictures. Eventhough it wasn’t actually my birthday it was still the best birthday ever. I hope your birthday’s are awesome My Readers!

Some Public Info.

Yep. I thought I would post some useless information about myself. So here it is:

I’m a nonconformist, I don’t like to classify people but I would definitely call myself a dork. I’ve always liked Punk music (Good Charlotte, All American Rejects, Green Day, Yellow Card) but recently I’ve gotten more into it. My friend Christina introduced me to The Killers and I really like them, also I’ve developed a liking for Taking Back Sunday. My mom always wanted me to let my hair grow out so I kept it really short but now I’m letting it get longer. I totally love Jesus, He’s awesome. I have plenty of good friends who I am extremely thankful for. My family recently got another dog (we already had 1), I wanted to name him Napoleon after my new favorite movie character but no one else liked that idea. I have a habit of doing and saying very random and obscure things. Every day I thank the Lord for the invention of duct tape, I don’t know how man would survive without it. I will admit that I’m full of energy but I hate it when people describe me as ‘bubbly’. I have a weakness for chocolate and cute boys with shaggy hair. I have been counting down the days until my birthday for a while now, only 7 days left. I will be 17 so only 372 days until I can have my freedom. I’m going to take all the money I get in birthday cards and go shopping. Some of the top things on my list are camo pants, black nail polish (I just… want some), more duct tape, a nice calendar, and there are some mangas that I want. I would also like a little more respect but that’s not something you can buy. I have a really good sense of humor (at least I think so), but I’m also very sarcastic. It’s hard to choose a favorite song but I would probably go with 99 Red Balloons, for now. My favorite color is definitely green. My favorite president is Taft, if you know the bathtub story then you know why. My heroes in life are Albert Einstein and Lisa Kudrow. I look up to a lot of my friends (not because I’m short) and I really admire them, especially Ane-San. I’m running out of things to say so I guess I’ll just stop. Thanks for your time. Live On My Readers!

Cough…Cough…Cake

I haven’t really posted alot lately so I thought I would atleast post something today. I’m pretty sick and I haven’t done much but sleep but I’m taking some time to do this. I don’t have much too say, not a lot has happened since yesterday. Oh, I was so busy writting about that FBLA thing yesterday that I forgot to tell you about the cake. The largest club at our school is undoubtably DECA. Every kid and their brother is in DECA, it’s crazy. I don’t even know what they do but apparently it’s something fun because everyone is in that club. Well I for one refuse to join DECA because of the fact that there are so many people in it. It’s a conformist club and I will not be part of a conformist club. The one thing I do know about DECA is that they serve cake in the lunch room quite frequently. I don’t really know why, they just do. But they only give the cake to DECA members. Well Friday they were serving some of the afore mentioned cake and I wanted some. I mean I really wanted some of that cake. Just one piece of that delicious cake would have made my day. But of course I couldn’t get any because I’m not part of that A social conformist club. This made me extreemly angry. I kept asking people if they were in DECA and if they were I would ask them to please get me a piece of cake but no one would. You know why? Because that’s how they get you, the cake. They tempt you with it’s delicious goodness and then lure you into the club. Then they brain wash you because once your in DECA you don’t get out. It’s all about the cake. And you know what, they shouldn’t even be aloud to do that. Give cake to some people and not others. That’s discrimination and discrimination is wrong! We need to stand up for our rights. Not giving me cake because I’m not in DECA is like not giving someone cake because they are of a different race. Either way it’s discrimination. This is a free country and I want the right to have cake! Listen My Readers, we have to stand up for ourselves. Fight the power. Don’t let the man keep you down. Be your own person and don’t let anyone tell you what you should do. So go, stand up for your rights My Readers!

FBLA Name Tags

School was closed Tuesday and Wednesday because of snow. The sad part is that there wasn’t really snow at my house so it wasn’t like a real snow day. I was supposed to go to FBLA regional competition but it was Wednesday and we didn’t go because school was cancelled and it was all snowy or whatever. So we are going to this make up thing on Thursday. Well let me give you some background information. I signed up to do bussiness math but apparently I’m not good enought for that. So they stuck me in name tag all I get to do is make the flippin’ name tags! I may not be the smartest person in the world but I could atleast do something more intelligent than that. So they make me do something I didn’t really want to and then no one tells me what I’m supposed to do. But I didn’t worry about it, I was going to do my best. You know, help the team however I could. Well I finally managed to get a little info on what I should do so I desinged a simple but cool nametag. Well, back to the present. We had a meeting Friday and they discussed this make up competition and who is going and all that. They said something about how only people who were making speeches or taking written tests needed to go. One of my friends is an officer so I asked her if that meant I didn’t get to go. Someone ended up asking our superviser, let’s call her Mrs. F (I prefer not to use peoples’ real names without permission). Turns out the name tags were supposed to be submitted some time last week so I wasn’t registered because it was passed the deadline or something. It made me a little angry that no one had even taken the time to tell me that before now. So, whatever. Screw it. I don’t care any more. Don’t ever make name tags for FBLA My Readers!
